Clear Lakes Cafe

My mom and I tried a new place for breakfast yesterday.  Clear Lakes Cafe is located west of Amidon on 21st St.  It is just west of Braum's on the south side of the road.  It is a simple cafe, but the food was good and it wasn't crowded at 9:00 on a Saturday morning which is a definite plus.  I had the Belgium waffle.  It was crisp and cooked just right.  My mom had the French toast and said it was good too.  Other items on the menu included pancakes, omelettes, and biscuits and gravy.  The cafe also serves lunch.

If you are ever on the north side of town and are hungry for breakfast or lunch, you might want to give it a try.

Milk at Braum's Is Even Cheaper!

Today when I bought milk from Braum's it was only $2.19 a gallon!

Grapes at Walmart

FYI, grapes are 88cents per pound at Wal-Mart.  This price includes both green and red grapes.  The one's I bought yesterday were really good and looked far better than the ones they were selling at Target recently.

Also, milk is also still $2.59 per gallon at Braum's.  I saw that Wal-Mart brand milk was $3.55 per gallon. 

Chicken Breasts at Sam's West

My mom and I were at the Sam's on the west side to day and they had Tyson natural chicken breasts for $1.66/lb.  I do not know how long the price will be good for, but I thought I would share.
