Eggs at Aldi's

When I was at the Aldi's at 21st and Amidon yesterday (Sunday, July 3rd), they had their eggs marked at 89 cents per dozen.

They had them marked at this price a couple of weeks ago as well.

Cascadian Farms Cereal at Dillon's

Dillon's has Cascadian Farms cereal on sale 2/$5.  Many of the Internet coupon sites have 75 or 85 cent coupons for the cereal which would become $1 at Dillon's making the cereal just $1.50 per box.

I plan to go and buy some granola tomorrow!

Nestle Tollhouse Morsels on Sale at Target

I was at the east Super Target today and they have Nestle Tollhouse Morsels on sale for $1.50 until July 23rd.  There is an online coupon available for 50 cents off of 2 packages.

I believe the price is good on all the different morsels.  I saw they have dark chocolate, so I am hoping to get in there next week to pick some up with my coupons.

Watermelon at Wal-Mart

The Wal-Mart at 53rd and Meridian had watermelon on sale $3 per melon on Saturday.

I picked one up and so far it has been the best melon I've eaten this year!

Deal on Flowers

I have not checked it out yet, but the various Kaw Valley flower centers around town have their plants marked down to 50% off.  I don't know how their original prices compare to places like Lowe's, but I know from past experience that their flowers tend to grow well.

I hope to make it there this weekend to look for some more plants for my front garden.

Fruit Deals at Aldi's

Don't forget that Aldi's has watermelon for $2.99 and grapes for 88 cents/lb (you have to buy a 2lb box).  They also have strawberries for 99 cents a carton.

I believe that the cheapest price I have seen for watermelon at other stores is $4.88 per melon.

Another Deal at Target

I don't remember if this deal appeared in the Target ad this week, but they have 2 liter bottles of Coke on sale for $1.

Unadvertised Deals at Target

Today at Target I was able to buy 8oz bottles of Wishbone salad dressing for 34 cents a bottle.  They are marked down to $1.04 per bottle and I had some $1.50/2 coupons (they were in the Sunday paper last month).

They also have SpaghettiO's for 50 cents a can.

I know the deals go through the end of this week, and I think the SpaghettiO's deal goes even longer.

Inexpensive Bread at Dollar Tree

Many of the Dollar Tree stores in town carry Nature's Own bread for just $1.  I have found that the selection available depends on the store.  Most of the stores carry various flavors of the bread, but the Dollar Tree at 21st and Amidon also carries hamburger buns and hot dog buns.

This price beats the price of wheat bread at the bread store by at least 35 cents (at least the last time I was there).

Blueberries at Aldi's

The Aldi's on Maize road had blueberries for 99 cents today.  The sign said that the price was good for today only, but it might be worth a look at your local Aldi's to see if they are running a similar deal.

Free BBQ Sauce at Dillon's

Dillon's has Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce on sale 10/$10 (you do not have to buy 10) and there was a coupon in last Sunday's paper for $1 off of the same BBQ sauce.

No Special Deals at Wal Mart this Week

The weekly neighborhood paper did not have any Wal Mart deals posted this week.  I wonder if Memorial has something to do with it.  I will check again next week and post if I see any good deals.

Eggs at Aldi's

The Aldi's at 21st and Amidon is currently selling eggs for 89 cents a dozen.  I don't know if Aldi's prices are the same across the city, but it might be worth a look if you are near one.

Special Deals at Wal Mart

I don't know if it is just on our side of town, but three of the west side Wal Marts have special two day deals that run on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

I found an ad for the deals in the special West-side edition of the newspaper that we receive with the Wednesday grocery store ads (we do not get the newspaper daily).

If you receive the paper daily, you might want to check with someone who gets the special weekly paper to see what the deals are.  I will try to post the deals for the west side on Wednesdays (I don't know if they are the same for the east side; I imagine that they are).

This week one of their best deals is frozen boneless, skinless chicken 3lbs for $4.50 (until tonight anyways).
